Clue Party

A Flutter social party game where players hunt for their secret targets in the room, built for a Human-Computer Interaction course at NTUA.

Clue Party is a mobile icebreaker game I built with a teammate for the Human-Computer Interaction course during my Erasmus exchange at the National Technical University of Athens.

How a round works

  1. The host taps Host a party and sets the game duration and other options.
  2. Everyone joins with the same party code and answers a few fun-fact questions about themselves.
  3. The host starts the game, and each player receives a set of secret targets: other people in the room.
  4. Players walk around, talk to each other, and use the clues to identify their targets, confirming a find by scanning that person’s QR code.
  5. The player who finds all their targets fastest, with the fewest attempts, tops the leaderboard.

From prototype to app

The game started as a Figma prototype. Usability feedback changed the final app, for example adding back buttons to most screens so players can always return to the previous step.
