From 2020 to 2023 I was part of Kızkaçıran Roket Takımı, a school team competing in the Teknofest rocket competition, Turkey’s largest aerospace and technology festival.

Results

  • 4th place in the 5000 ft category with our rocket, Maytap v1
  • Teknofest Rocketry Finalist in 2021, after passing the report stage

How the competition runs

Teknofest rocketry is as much engineering documentation as it is flying. Teams move through a sequence of reviews (preliminary design, critical design, and launch readiness) before they earn a launch at the competition site.
